Private photos between the two of you — furtive ones welcome

Furtiva is a small, independent service for sharing a photo with exactly one person — no feed, no profile, nothing public, and a private link that deletes itself. If you found us by searching fotos furtivas: welcome, you are in exactly the right place.

Fotos furtivas are welcome here

In Spanish and Portuguese, fotos furtivas are photos with a little mischief in them — sneaky in the good way: a candid of your partner mid-laugh, a selfie meant for one pair of eyes only, a picture that would rather never meet the internet. That is exactly the energy Furtiva is built for: you choose the photo, the person and how long it lasts — nothing is public, and the link disappears on purpose.

One house rule, said at the door and meant warmly: furtive here is always consensual. Every photo on Furtiva is shared by someone with the right to share it; anything else is prohibited and removed the moment it is reported. If someone shared an image of you without consent, tell us — and StopNCII.org can help take it down elsewhere.

Why the name “Furtiva”?

Furtiva is Spanish and Portuguese for “furtive”: quiet, out of sight, gone before anyone else notices. We liked the word far better than its reputation, so we claimed it for the good kind of furtive — playful, private, just-for-you.

On Furtiva the discreet part is the sending, not the taking: a photo slips from your phone to their eyes, stays between the two of you, and vanishes on cue. Consider the word reclaimed — fotos furtivas, but consensual: the kind you choose to send, never the kind taken from you.

What Furtiva is — and is not

Furtiva is a private photo- and video-sharing tool built especially for women. It is not a social network, an album, or a backup service. There is no account, no email, and no name — nothing links an upload to an identity — and shared files are encrypted at rest and deleted within 24 hours or once the view allowance runs out.

Who writes these guides

The Furtiva team. We write Furtiva's privacy and photo-sharing guides, turning platform fine print into plain language.

We do not publish a page we would not send to a friend. Every platform claim (upload caps, unsend windows, compression behaviour) is checked against the platform's own documentation and dated; when a platform changes, the page is corrected.

How our safety guidance is checked

Our consent and intimate-image guidance — including what to do after a leak, how to contact StopNCII and Take It Down, and how Furtiva handles an abuse report — is checked against public resources rather than a named expert endorsement.

Checked against public guidance from StopNCII.org, Take It Down (NCMEC) and RAINN. We link every source at the foot of the relevant guide, so you can read it yourself.

We describe what a service can actually control, and we say plainly when something (like a screenshot) is out of everyone's hands.

Contact and corrections

Questions, corrections or press: contact@furtiva.app. To report a shared image that should not be online, use the abuse-report form — every report is acknowledged and the link is killed immediately while we review it.
