Can they save my photo?
They can screenshot — no service can stop that, and we won't pretend otherwise. What Furtiva guarantees: your link can't be re-shared into something permanent, no one else can find it, and it disappears on your schedule — not theirs.
What does "unsend" do?
It kills the link instantly, wherever it's been pasted — anyone who opens it afterward sees a goodbye page, and the photo is deleted shortly after. Only you can unsend; the secret token stays in your browser.
Do you know who I am?
No account, no email, no name. Your photo isn't linked to an identity, and your history lives only in your browser.
Is my photo really encrypted?
Yes — encrypted at rest and served only through its private link. Links are blocked from search engines, so a leaked link can't be Googled.
How long do photos and videos live?
You decide: 10 minutes, 1, 6 or 24 hours, and anywhere from one open to 20 — whichever comes first. Then they're deleted for good. No archive, no backup.
Can I send videos?
Yes — MP4, WEBM and MOV up to 250 MB, same rules as photos: one private link, invisible to search engines, gone on your schedule, unsendable anytime.
What's a private room?
A temporary group chat for up to 8 people, opened with one link. Everyone picks a nickname, talks, and sends photos or videos (optionally view once). The room disappears for everyone once nobody has written for the time you chose, or when you close it.
Can Furtiva read what's said in a room?
Yes — our moderators may review a room, for example after a report, and can close it.
